Buying a Vehicle

Contacting Sellers

When you find a vehicle that interests you, Camoza makes it easy to reach the seller directly through the platform's messaging system.

How messaging works

Every listing page includes a contact option. When you send a message, it goes directly to the seller's inbox on Camoza. The seller receives a notification and can reply through the platform.

What to include in your first message

A good first message helps the seller take you seriously:

  • Introduce yourself: A brief note about who you are and what you are looking for.
  • Be specific: Mention the vehicle by name and ask about particular details — condition, service history, reason for selling.
  • Suggest next steps: If you are interested in a viewing, mention your availability and location.

Arranging a viewing

Most buyers prefer to see a vehicle in person before making an offer. When arranging a viewing:

  • Agree on a time and place that works for both parties
  • Bring someone with mechanical knowledge if you are not confident yourself
  • Prepare a checklist of things to inspect (see our buying guides for tips)

Making an offer

Negotiations happen directly between buyer and seller. Camoza does not process payments or mediate transactions — the platform connects you and provides the space for honest, direct conversations.

Tips for negotiating

  • Research comparable listings to understand fair market value
  • Be respectful and transparent about your budget
  • Ask about any included extras (awnings, solar panels, accessories)

Staying safe

  • Always meet in a public place or at the vehicle's registered location
  • Never send money before seeing the vehicle
  • Trust your instincts — if something feels off, walk away
  • Report suspicious listings to the Camoza team through the contact page
